I have spent most of the last few days tucked in our warm home elfing away, sometimes with family members and other times alone. I have enjoyed watching my husband and kids secretly making and wrapping their handmade gifts, their creativity, enthusiasm, love and excitement.
This project and images that Sonia shared with us remind me so much of the season. Of the short dark days that are so full of light, warmth and love.

He pasado la mayor parte de los últimos días en casa haciendo de duende y creando regalos, a veces sola y a veces con otros miembros de la familia. Me encanta ver a mi marido y a los niños creando y envolviendo sus regalos hechos a mano, viendo su creatividad, entusiasmo, amor y emoción!

Este proyecto y las imágenes que Sonia comparte con nosotros me recuerdan mucho a la temporada. Días cortos, oscuros pero llenos de luz, calidez y amor.

To make this project,

Beat the whites of an egg and paint the outside of the glass (Sonia used yogurt containers).
Sprinkle the outside with white caster sugar (though I am wondering whether you could use salt too)
Shake off the excess, allow to dry then decorate and place a candle inside!

Para hacer este proyecto:

Batir las claras de un huevo y pintar la parte exterior del vidrio (Sonia utilizó tarros de yogur).
Rociar el exterior con azúcar blanco (aunque me imagino que se puede sal)
Sacudir el exceso y dejar que se seque. Decorar y colocar una vela en el interior!
